Great stuff from the Hardy 7 today. The WW will be a piece of cake at this rate.

Despite the mist, very enjoyable spin. Descent from Slieve Bawn was fun trying to stop from getting blown sideways.

The Heinous Climb was more heinous than ever. Tully, you are now officially a savage having conquered that.

Can't wait for the next one, heres the stats from today: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/103018799

Yup, great spin today, even if not entirely sociable!

Second that. All the sneaky training is really paying off. Feck sake, he's even wearing that slim fitting jacket he was selling a few months ago beacause it was too small  Looking forward to the next Yeates/Tully showdown already.

great spin, nice weather to be doing a training spin. the wicklow way should be no problem after today. good to see the group stayed together for the whole spin.
The amount of over the handle bar moments was crazy!

cheers David for organizing the route.

Great spin and well organised
Had to get back on the bike after getting home - to go play 'bike race' with the kids :)

The week of spins might be delayed till Friday but that won't stop this week's spins - tomorrow might be a rest day though :)

Ok folks, for those not heading the final NPS in Castlewellan, we're back onto the WW training this Sunday. This time we are heading northeast for a nice little jaunt around the Golden Triangle of Counties Wexford, Carlow and Wicklow for a trial run on the end of the Wicklow Way, with a few hills to climb on the way. Route as follows:

Departing from The Square, Bunclody at 8am sharp

Bradys Cross
Gibbet Hill
Beaufield
Shillelagh by rd (approx 10km) - coffee stop
Back to Clonegal via the Wicklow Way
Home your own way

This spin is about 65km, with about 1/3 on road. There are no technical sections on this so is very suitable for the 'non' mtbers. Pace will be steady and sociable ;).

Remember to bring lots of drink and food and appropriate spares. Check the weather forecast and dress accordingly

Expected time 4 hrs

See you there.

Cool 8-)

What are the chances of getting coffee in Shillelagh at 10am on a Sunday?
