What's the location of the club mtb?
I'm trying to persuade a certain Mr Burke that he would be well able to join the group for the
Last 20km or so on Sunday ;)
And maybe a different winter bike training program :o

Frank could borrow my hard tail for that spin if he wants. Rudlof or DF would confirm this but I.d say last thirty k is more then accsesable to a none mtb'er

I'm only familiar with Shillelagh to Clonegal, but that stretch is definitely OK for non-mtb'ers. There is only one hairy descent, a couple of hundred metres along a narrow track but it can be ridden slowly or even walked if preferred. The more the merrier I say!

Dont mind DC. The downhills are the best bits. This is where you will get converted to a mountainbiker and will get back for more action.

20km??!! Whats wrong with coming from laragh for the day out, its all tarmac or forest roads no mtb ability required, hence big feed of pints we're going to have Saturday night :D

Shhh Rudolf! Don't frighten the horses. We have to get them out there in the first place before we can point them down hills.
