Valentia Island National Sprint Championships

Post by don »

The first National Series event of the year and also happens to be the National Sprint Championships is taking place on Valentia Island on Saturday the 12th May at 10am. Online entries open this Sunday at 8am and there will be limited numbers available. They are doing two more entry tranches, on Sunday 26th Feb and Sunday 25th March. I know it's a long way down and you will need accommodation as it's a 10am start but I'm going for it anyway. The entry will be through the Valentia Island Triathlon Website on the following link http://valentiaislandtriathlonclub.com/ ... triathlon/

Well done lads. Serious times there, great run by Don and Pj, great swim by Frank must be delighted after hard work over the winter. 795 might be small on the tri scence but fairly knocking out the results!

Yes Barry, new bike had it's maiden voyage and it performed well. Great tri, great weather and all three 795'ers left Valentia happy with the results. The scenery was spectacular and it was hard to leave with the buzz, the weather and the possibility of a great after-tri party. I think Don and Pj agreed one of them would do the report :D
