UpComing sportives and Events Summer "15

i have compiled a few upcoming Sportives and a Adventure Race . i,v done most of these last year so i can give my opinion on must of them .

St Lukes Sportive Sunday 19th July 60k and 100k . starts and finishs in Ferns . we done this last year as a small group . it was brilliant . good food stop , with 2 tough climbs .

Tour Of Kildare Sunday 9th of August . starts and finishs on the main street Naas . 20k 60k and 110k spins .good cycle , great BBQ at the end . nice spin thru The Curragh and a chance to take on the dreaded " Wall" ... its like a mini Corrabut but catchs you on a sharp bend .

Leinster Loop Sunday 16th August , Starts outside Athy , 50k 90k 130k . long drag to Castlecomer then a gradual climb to the Butts . fast downhill section to carlow . food stop last year was extremly bad , worst one ever . but the food at the finish was very good . Leinster Loop

Etape Connemare Challange , Sunday 16th August . 100k 150k chip timmed Sportive . Mick Foley done this last year and said it was very good .
its a way to test and push yourself and maybe set a goal time for same event next year . i,m hoping to do this .

Sean Kelly Tour Sunday 23rd August 50k 100k and 160k . this is a hugh Sportive , 7000plus riders over all the distances . food stops and at the end is savage . i didn,t do this yet , hope to do the 160 k ,its seemly a tough one .

Racing 795 MTB Challange on Sunday 30th on Mount Leinster

Cycle for Orla Sunday 13th September . 60k and 110k from Tullow . we really need to get a group in this as its Slaney Valleys Sportive , they helped us with out Triathlon this year , great Sportive with a few tough climbs on the 110k .

Killarney Adventure Race Saturday3rd October . 27k 60k and 70k routes . run bike and kayak . this is a brilliant event . my friend does it every year and says its fantastic . myself and Trish are doing the 6ok . the Kayaks are doubles so no need to be scared of them , its on a lake also . after party is unreal .
