IMRA winter league 2011

Post by johnd »

The races for the IMRA winter league have been set:

Sun Jan 9 11 AM Howth Winter WL IMRA Race 221m 7km 6
Sat Jan 22 11 AM Ticknock Winter WL IMRA Race 417m 10km 7
Sun Feb 6 11 AM Annagh Hill WL IMRA Race 500m 10km 6
Sun Feb 20 11 AM Trooperstown Hill WL IMRA Race 380m 11km 6
Sat Mar 5 11 AM Maulin Winter League Route WL IMRA Race 820m 11km 7

Some more details found here: http://imra.ie/events/?year=2011

The Annagh Hill route is less than ten minutes from my house. If anyone fancies a run up it some time let me know - the initial climb is tough but nothing too nasty on top with great views of Mt Leinster one side and the Wicklow Mountains on the other.

After thaw and some time PB (post baby ;) ) I'll try set up a run for Annagh and stick something up on the forum.

@ Brian, saw the Waterford half was postponed alright (think it's the 15th now?). Doing the Dungarvan 10 on Jan 30th, will be barely up to the 10 miles by that stage so not a chance of doing the half before that

not fit for a half either, was just going to use it to get some miles in, go as hard as possible for maybe 10 miles and then just blow up
