Good long spin today. Brass monkeys, but we soon warmed up and the fresh coffee and oven-warm scones in St Mullins certainly hit the spot. The road back to Kiltealy was nothing short of shocking. Anyone doing the Blackstairs adventure race might want to consider using a mountain bike!
Souls were searched in Kiltealy, shoot straight home or take on the mountain? Looking around the group there was only ever going to be one outcome, and over the top went the magnificent seven.
Lovely group, great company, thanks to all especially John and PJ for organising.

Bang on David...a great spin, coffee stop was inspired, well done pj..and well done John on remembering the route....because half way round I thought I had a stroke...I was numb all down me left side....and me right side for that matter...And PJ, you'll have to teach us males how to empty our bladders...because that was one of the scariest sights I've ever seen :o

That was a great spin this morning, thanks to all the lads for staying with me making sure I didn't get left too far behind. Delighted to have got such a spin into the legs, 97km from door to door.

And I think from that sight of PJ (that'll give me nightmares) along with Niall offering to put me in a wheelie bin, I'll have to prepare myself better for the next group spin. ;)

PJ's piddle - aaaghhhhhhh. My eyes my eyes!

Good spin, crap roads (in parts anyway) and great company.
That cafe in St Mullins will surely pick up a bit more business out of it anyway.
Thanks for the company lads

Shock of the day :
Dempseys overshoes or pj's shorts a tie
Mistake of the day :
Allowing pj to leave the square with a whistle in his possession
Lesson of the day :
The cycling hand signal for relieving excess wind
Quote of the day:
Niall offering to throw lorraine into a wheelie bin so she could use it as a wc
Find of the day:
Cafe in St mullins will be visited again!
Another great day on a 795 spin
