This Tuesday will see the 1st of the 5 km runs.
Ardattin track starting at 6:15 pm.
You need to bring a watch to record your own time. It's 12.5 laps of the track.

I appreciate the 6:15pm start is early for some with work etc but its impossible to suit everybody.

It would be best to have everyone there at that time and start together but if people want to run after kids running is over do so by all means.

The idea of this is for members to see an improvement in their times ( or to run the whole 5 km depending on where your starting from) over the 3 events . The same goes for the 16 km bike.

Ideally everyone does it at the same time on the same course but if you want to pick somewhere local to yourself and repeat the runs/ bike on the same course each time it work for you also.

In this case post your times on the forum .
I will post the other times. And we each use that as the motivation for the next one.

See you Tuesday .

Great crowd out tonight, and great running. Thanks to the officials, PJ and Joy. A sprint finish for the fast lads then smiles all round as the beginner PBs tumbled. Huge respect for all you real runners now that I have given it a go and know how hard it is.

Now where's my poor neglected mountain bike?

The 5km run for tomorrow evening is postponed.
The kids running starts earlier at 6pm for community games trials so track unavailable.

It will take place next Tuesday (4thJune) at 6:15pm.

If you want to run 5km today/tomorrow and record still do so. Enjoy the wet
