Good man, I wont be able to make this. You will love the endless switch backs climb (Robin Seymour Style).

Well done BrianM on another solid performance today at the final xc NPS race in Glendalough today. A great season's racing by Brian, definitely our most improved MTBer this year.

This is a brilliant race loop as some of you already know from last years race. The final round of this years NPS, very well run etc from Epic and a handy spin up from the South East. Weather went a bit against it which was unlucky considering the good dry spells we have had recently, made for interesting greasy racing at the same time :D A massive amount of work must have went in to building that track, fair play to all involved. You need plenty punchy power for this loop to make passes as the best spots are on the uphill technical parts, something to remember when training for this race next year. Not by best day out or my worst, thought I had actually done a bit worse than where I am posted in the provisional results. I was chasing as hard as I could after Gary Coyne from Epic (he had beat me in the final part of lap 3 at Rd 3 with MAD), caught and passed him on the switchback climbs on lap two, delighted with that then took a heavy tumble on the following descent... silly mistake I made really, lost a few places there but held on at that position until the end. Good day out all around, looking forward to next years NPS and a heavier winter training plan!

Fair play Brian, you performed very well this year after stepping up to S3 and kept the flag flying for Racing795

Well done Brian great to have somebody racing at these events.

Sounds tough those switchback climbs are a killer.
