Swim Session 25th July
warm up 300 mtrs
Breathing 4 x 50 breath every 5 strokes /4/3/2 each 50m
Distance 1 x 300m 80% effort
Sprints 3 x 50 m 10 sec rest
legs only 2 x 100m
arms only 2 x 100 m
cool down 300m

TOTAL 1650 M

Guys I am out of the swimming for a while there is too much going on. Good luck with it.

Apologies i havnt made the last few swims, it all depends day to day if i have a bsitter on a thur evening, i wont make it tonight either. enjoy

1st August Swim Session

Warm up 400m

4 x 25 m kick with board
100m Free - stroke count
4 x 25m Streamline kick with flippers
4 x 25m Swimming using fists
100m Free -stroke count
4 x 25m Arms only
4x 25m Skull and kick
100m Free - stroke count

Cool Down - 200m

Total 1500m

same as Lorraine's a couple of weeks ago but for completeness have set it out again. :)

Swim set 15/8/13. 8 pm sharp.

300 m warm up. Easy pace.

2x 150 m time trial set. Sprint pace. 30 sec rest between each 150 m

2x 100 m time trial set . Sprint pace. 30 sec rest between each 100 m

6x 50 m easy up pool and hard back @ 90%

6x 25 m time trial set . Sprint pace. 5 sec rest between each length.

250 m cool down.

Total 1,500 m

Wont be there my self (thank god) have to bring me Ma back to Dublin....This plan was originally posted by Mike, but had a poor turn out, so here goes again.

Session planned for this week

Session Thursday 22nd Aug
300 Freestyle
200 Pull (pull buoy- concentrate on not crossing centre line)
200 Fick (with fins and pull buoy- keep - do not bend the knees, kick from hips)
200 Finger dribble (high elbow)
200 Zipper (hold glide – as long as possible)
200 Side drill (with fins-alternate sides- concentrate on balance)
100 Half sprint (flat out first 12.5 m -easy second half)
300 Freestyle (easy)
Total 1700 metres
