Long slow run Wicklow way area
Re: Long slow run Wicklow way area
Fingers crossed Colm, after all the hard weeks you put in. Keep us posted
Re: Long slow run Wicklow way area
Injury by dog sound like there is a story to that one.
If it was me I'd lgnore the physio and see how it goes on the day
If you decide not to chance it let me know I've never done a marathon might give it a go

Sound advice to wait and see
Much better undee trained than over trained and rest is good
You've done lots of mileage so endurance won't be an issue
Sounds like the only thing to worry about is whether the injury will hold out for 26.2 miles or not, the fitness will be there
(and like Barry said - tell us the story will ya!!)

Re: Long slow run Wicklow way area
Sorry to hear about the injury Colm.
I haven't put in enough training to get injured so the chances of running it twice are very slim.
Hopefully we'll see u on the start line. Ill start off with the 3.45 balloon and see how it goes.
