Is it really a race? Will I know who has won? Will I know how well I got on against Tully? - well no, not really
But it surely is one awesome feat of suffering and endurance, and may or may not provide a springboard to a hugely strong season on the bike (here's hoping )
(it may also result in some form of injury, but lets ignore that one for now)
But mainly it promises to be another event to tick off the list
What is THE TOUR you may ask
Well basically it consists of 11 Sufferfest videos across 9 consecutive days, from Saturday 25th January to Sunday 2nd February
That's doesn't sound so tough you might think, well then you've obviously never given your all to a Sufferfest video is what I say!!
Full details here: http://www.thesufferfest.com/about-suff ... dria-2014/
I was humming and hawing about it myself, but now that Tully is committed then I guess so am I
Anyone care to join us?
As the boyo's in Sufferlandria say IWBMATTKYT
The Tour of Sufferlandria!!
Re: The Tour of Sufferlandria!!

If there's a 4 hour MTB spin, there's a 4 hour MTB spin.

Re: The Tour of Sufferlandria!!
Jaysus Dempsey you are gone far too fond of that turbo.
All credit though, those Sufferfests are damn hard, fair play if you complete that challenge

Re: The Tour of Sufferlandria!!
I love my turbo Furlong, but it sure as hell hates the sight of me!!
Have you ever heard the noise a turbo trainer makes when it weeps?
Or how about the desperate whimper of a bicycle regretting the day it ever found itself in that room?
They are the noises that fill my mornings, that is my bird song.
Before you all think I've lost it, it's all about getting in the zone.
Like that other great method actor before me, the bould Daniel Day, it you want to play the role you've got to live it
