Well done lads - 22 seconds between DC and Brian at the line
Re: MTB RACING - XC NPS Races 2014
Some great racing on a tough loop and in very testing conditions once again at Ticknock.
Got a poor start this time compared to the last race but managed to pull a good few places back on the tarmac climb.
Struggled on the long wet singletrack section like last year but that is an area I will have to try and improve on.. had DC tight on my shoulder at the end of it on the last lap but luckily for me there was a good amount of climbing at the back end of the loop where I opened back up a bit of a gap and he took a few tumbles or the result would have been different Jim took a bad fall on one of the drops towards the end which cost him a lot unfortunately but escaped a nasty injury thankfully. Miron had a great race and it enjoyed it a lot more than his first outing which is great considering it was a tougher race. Great run event as usual from MAD, savage craic on the fast sections and the bus stops. Looking forward to round 3

Might as well have been 22 hoursDavidT wrote:Well done lads - 22 seconds between DC and Brian at the line
Great day out, everyone finished with a smile. Massive improvement from Miron in his second national series race.
Make sure you submit your results for the club championships Miron, if you keep improving at that rate you'll be in with a great chance.

Good man Patsy. I remember telling you on a slog up the black banks in the deep mid-winter mud that Lady Dixon would be the NPS for you. .
Now just make sure to change those bars !
