Great Barrow Swim

Great event last year.

Great Barrow Swim is to take place on Sunday 31st July @ 11am. Starting and finishing in Carlow Town Park there are two race distances; 750m & 1.9km.

There are race categories for Skins and wetsuit categories. Senior 18 plus on day of event. Junior under 18 on day of event.
Following last years success we will also have a St Faicc's Club member only junior race 400m.

*Medals for all participants
*T shirts for all pre-registered participants
*Prizes for catagories 1-3 place and age group winners.

Bump. Very enjoyable event last year. Just signed up for the 1900m so i better get training. Anyone else up for this. Our own Mike Ryan is involved in organising this, so please support as he contributes hugely to any events we run since he joined the club! For those newbies who dont know Mike - he was the one that backup up to Clonegal with the camera last evening while we all stood in Kildavin waiting for him to take the photo.

BTW no tee shirt if you dont sign up before July 17th!

What a day...massive support and turn out from 795....Congrats to Eimear, Yvette, Peter C, and Kevin Gibson on winning medals..Well done Mike Ryan on pulling it all together....Next "club" event Caroline Kearney Tri Sat 13 August....Tri the Hook Sat 20th August....Hope to see you all there..
