The Winter TT League resumes next Sunday, 17th October.
First race will be a 30km time trial, starting and finishing at Spellman Park, Kildavin. Times will be handicap adjusted at the end.
Sign On from 10am for a 10.15am start. Competitors will go off at 1 minute intervals.
As we all know these events can't take place without marshalls and timekeepers. I have set up a spreadsheet with the dates, please fill in your name if you can help out. Each event needs 3 people - two marshalls and a starter/timekeeper.

These events are open to all, including non-members, so please spread the word, the more the merrier.

Re: Winter TT League - Rd1
so, thanks to Dena for volunteering to timekeep on Sunday (and Barry and Paul for future events).DavidF wrote:As we all know these events can't take place without marshalls and timekeepers. We need two marshalls for this Sunday's event. There is a safety issue here and these events cannot go ahead without proper marshalling.
There are a number of people who participated in, but did not marshall, during the Summer League.......
Re: Winter TT League - Rd1
Well done to all this morning. Joy continued the trend of the women staying ahead of the handicapper by bagging the win. Must have been the sprint with Ruairi at the end that did it..
Well done as well to PJ who smashed (his own) course record by 1:20, no mean feat. The new mark is 54:23 I have a feeling that might stand for a while..
Thanks also to Dena, Ed and Ciara for marshalling/timekeeping
Results are at the link below, hope to see you all for Rd 2

Re: Winter TT League - Rd1
I did an impromptu lap of the TT course this afternoon. I was going fairly well until I turned into the wind at Rothwell's engineering. Feck, I thought I'd never get home! I won't tell you my time but the fast lads needn't be worried.

Hi All
I need someone to cover my marshalling spot on the 21st of November. We are celebrating my daughters birthday in Dublin that weekend (I completely forgot, some father and family man I am!!). As you can see on the sacred scheduling spreadsheet, I have changed myself to the December event. Sorry for the short notice, I would appreciate if someone would fill in. Thanks Ruairi
