Thanks as million guys. Getting emotional here reading all the good wishes. Yea I'm really looking forward to it now, has been a long six months of training. Flying to Faro tomorrow and then a 6 hour car journey to Pontevedra on Friday morning and make it for the Irish registration slot between 1-2. Day off Saturday (well other than watching the Elites) and then the race is some time from 8am Sunday. Fair play John for finding my Bib number, had to do a lot of searching to find that... I'm on a weeks holidays after the race in the Algarve (how bad )so I'll do the race report when I get back. The Brownlee Brothers along with home town favourite Javier Gomez are all on the start line, so should be a great atmosphere. Over 1,000 Age Groupers competing in 30 degrees temperature with nearly 3,000 fett of climbing on the bike and a strong current in the river, so conditions are not for the faint hearted
