Yipee open mountain
Don, Frank, PJ, Martin anyone else out there with an underused and unloved mtb this is one for you!!
not a singletrack in sight just pure uphill pain and suffering
I have such fond memories of my last "handy spin up" to the head of Aughnabrisky

Absoulutely! Some more details, this will be a 2.5hr spin, handy pace. mostly non technical. One of the most beautiful parts of the country, you will be in awe of the scenery.BarryB wrote: Don, Frank, PJ, Martin
And whilst we are on the photos, this is one of my all time favourites, taken on this spin last year - funny enough on the same weekend! it was the day Brian lost his bolt!
Re: Open Mountain mtb spin Sunday 1st April
Nice,
I have been gazing out across The Rower through the sunny haze at the mountains all week!
Enough of cycling round in circles for another bit.
Where is halfway house?

Sounds great lads, 90% on joining you. So basically you turn right at the bottom of the Square, keep left and it's out that road approx 4km? Is it on the side of the road?

Yes Don - you're looking for a petrol station/shop on the right - have a look at street view in google maps - the guys have it linked above.
