See enclosed results just posted, looks like a great race at the top with a lot of very strong names participating. Looking at the bike and overall times, it was a tougher race than last year by a couple of minutes and our PJ knocked off over a minute on last year, so overall he's probably knocked 2-3 mins better than last year. One to watch

Re: Nenagh tri
Looking at results, Pj improved by approx half a min on swim and a minute on the run which is impressive especially on first tri of the year. Bike must have been tougher than last year as he finished with a similar time to last year, yet he's bike placing ranked much higher on the bike than last year. More improvements to come me thinks! Great Stuff

Re: Nenagh tri
Thanks for the good wishes/congrats etc
I tell yea Furlong going up that hill on the run I taught it was a heart transplant i'd had
Very happy with today's race overall.
Didn't think I'd improve my swim time from last yr but there you go.
The bike was tougher than last yr with a crosswind you had to fight a lot.
The 5.3km run is still hilly
It was good to get a good blow out before the serious stuff starts. National series and all that
Brilliantly organised once again. Well done Nenagh Tri club.
Met a Denis Byrne (son of Martin) from Bunclody doing his first Tri. He's with pulse Tri.
Is he related Barry??

Nice one Pj. Got to be very pleased with those times given your limited chance to train over the winter. Onwards and upwards again Mr Dunne:-)
