Club brick session
Re: Club brick session
Great session guys, a triple brick at race pace is tough, add wind and hills and it's particularly tough. Thanks a mill to Yvonne for minding the gear, particularly with little or no sleep the night before, hope all are well. Yesterday was also a lesson in preparation. What do you say to a guy that turns up with the cycleing shoes and no cleats, so big thank you o Martin for coming to the rescue. Just said I'd throw it out there before someone else does
Re: Club brick session
Great training session - hats off to Mr and Mrs D on their collective efforts.
It was great to have a crew doing this - Martin, Don, Pj, - good to see Adrian back in the fray and our new man Peter Brennan getting a feel for the fourth discipline.
On a seperate note, I wonder if we could get a large crew together for a few road spins, as the MTBers have been making noises about road spins being the best way of taking them to the next level in terms of fitness.
Might kick off a post after Valentia promoting a 2 hour spin on a Sunday morn and with concensus, decide on set pace and route. With a group, we could do a roll over like Tilly did at training day and keep pace up for part of the 2 hour spin. Think about this and will plan for May 20th, if the guys can sacrifice their Sun morn MTB spin. Of course, you could always do 2 hour MTB after we finishe!!
