DIORALYTE anybody with kids will have loads lying around it costs around 40 cent a packet and one packet will replace just about all the salts etc. lost through strenuous exercise. And it comes in a range of flavors.

big fan of the dioralyte as well. i use the flavourless one and cordial for my own taste as the lemon and blackcurrant flavour ones are pretty awful in my opinion

available from any chemist

on the subject of recovery drinks - powdered chocolate such as Milo with skimmed milk (or half milk half water) are also reckoned to be good. right blend of carbs etc.. for good recovery

Further reading has revealed that a mix of carbs is far better than one source alone possibly glucose, fructose and maltodextrin was looking up and all the lazy  brands use a mix of two types I see powerbar use glucose and fructose and boast 20-50% better performance to glucose alone. now dont get too exicted on reading the small print this is an additional 20-50% on the approx 10% you get from energy drinks so the combination will give about 2-5% increase this is based on exercise lasting more than one hour.

Hey Barry any chance you could do a bit of research into and maybe even produce some Gummiberry Juice. Looks like powerful stuff and with the carbon levy coming in, we could even run our cars on it.

" The Gummi Bears' vital strategic substance, Gummiberry Juice, a magic potion that endows Gummi bears with bouncing abilities, but gifts humans (or ogres) with momentary super-strength as well as other numerous uses, including serving as fuel for mechanical machines."

Gummi bear video ..go on you know you want to : ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=loUNoy0Qub0
Goddamn song is stuck in my head now.
