Racing795 alternative end of year awards 2012

At this time of year it's only natural to look back and remember the standout moments. The champ has been crowned and awards have been presented but there are dozens of other happenings worthy of honourable mention. I'll start the ball rolling with a short list, probably a bit MTB biased, but I'm sure there are plenty more out there.

-Most miraculous transformation: Tully, from fat lad to xc whippet (almost)
-Best forum post: The only gay in the village by Brian Hennessy
-Best justification for getting out on the bike: "I'm a better Daddy when I go home after a good spin" - Brian Hennessy
-Best closet MTBer: PJ Dunne. Who knew?
-Best comeback: Jointly awarded to Rudolf and DF, keep up the good work lads.
-Best comeback of another type: The return of Jim of Arabia
-Best night out: End of year do in Ferns
-Worst night out: End of year do in Ferns
-Most abuse given in one night: The women giving out to the men for racing each other on the away spin in Baltinglas

-Best ad for Supervalu:


-Most prophetic photo:

I'm obviously speaking for myself here when I say it's the arms you see, wide and braced and yet no immediate give away, like crunching of the knuckles or facial grimmace. I've lots of practice on this front

And you're right, McGrath and Morrissey were separated at birth, and that's an idea for another deadly thread!
