This looks like a mighty spin, 7 so far.

Anyone else?

Ok, so the first hour was a shambles, I'll hold my hands up and shoulder the blame for that. Apologies to all, won't happen again.

But once we regrouped at the lower gate off we went on our merry way. Took in a bit of new singletrack and saw some possibilites. Back over the windmills and down again

Tough spin here it is:

The anti-faffer himself getting caught in a tubeless faff pre spin, could happen the best of us...
His face when the group rounded Ballypierce junction right on cue with a barrage of slagging, priceless :D

Enjoyed that spin, lots of new stuff I haven't seen before, we got to hit that descent to the right turn over the wall more often!

Not only does the antifaffer fall on his sword but Macgyver of Arabia gets him going again! You couldn't make it up. The rest of the spin had it all, lads getting lost in the fog, a split lip, lads falling out and making friends again and best of all everyone banjaxed at the end of it. I even had a spin on Hennessy's race bike. Rudolf is right Brian, throw it in the bin and ride your trance. Don't feel bad DF, might have been scrappy at the start but we'll be talking about it in the pub for years.

It was good we al met again at the lower gate for the second part of the spin. That was a great tough loop. Even with al the mist there where plenty of great views. Loads of single track and the new bit halfway on the black banks is a nice decent the al the roots are deadly. Not so deadly for Barry who needs a bigger front tire. I was starving when i got home and just had my second dinner. The next spin will be even better trying to fit more single track in this loop. We might have to stop for a dinner halfway during that spin. Cheers

By the way

That nice rocky descent down to the gap in the wall is now known as:

Hennessy's Gap

in honour of Brian's spectacular tumble

Now I know! Honoured, I am not worthy. Watch out for the sequels - Hennessy II, III, IV etc!
Really was a decent fall, long distance from bike to man, even at my conservative speed. Truth is, was out of control a longtime before fall. Got up unscathed only to walk into a pylon wire and leave a portion of lip behind!
