Dungarvan 10 mile
Re: Dungarvan 10 mile
I'm not calling him fat, but he sure as hell ain't no skinny short ass Kenya that's for sure!!BShaugh wrote:you callin' him fat John???!!johnd wrote:Jaysus Fintan that's savage running altogether, especially for a big man like yourself - savage, really well done
Ah Fintan, that's the benefit of training isn't it - guilt free cream bunsf redmond wrote:John, i'm going on a diet now ........ now where did i leave that cream bun?
Seriously though, it stands to reason that based purely on size of skeleton, I should be able to run faster than you, and Shaughs should be able to run faster than me (which he does!!)
But when you're buzzing around in front of Shaughs that's some pretty serious running out of you
Fantastic running
Re: Dungarvan 10 mile

Re: Dungarvan 10 mile
Lads, that's fab running- well done all
Re: Dungarvan 10 mile
Don't know about that theory John! A huge number of factors in play other than size of skeletonjohnd wrote: Seriously though, it stands to reason that based purely on size of skeleton, I should be able to run faster than you, and Shaughs should be able to run faster than me (which he does!!)

John Joe Doyle is at least 6'5 and won something like 15 county championships and was a sub 30 minute 10km runner, Tom is well over 6 foot I guess, Dave Barron, Jim Stafford both well over 6 foot and two of the best
runners in the county for the last donkey's years, Martin Monaghan from SBR is a very well build lad ran 57 minutes in Dungarvan and one of the top runners in the county.
You can never judge a book by it's cover in running
