Out of town. Slightly off topic, I see in the local paper that turbines are being built on Gibbett hill there.

That's the place Brian, you should see the fire roads up there, like motorways!

I'm ready for the dogs, just have to outsprint Barry

I know the roadies love to hear about our MTB spins so I thought I'd share my Tully story. I had a shoe mechanical today, cleat screws sheared off leaving me one-legged. Feck spin over I thought but no. Tully smiles and reaches into his bag and pulls out a spare cleat complete with screws. Great! But I'm still in trouble. sheared bolts are stuck in the shoe and getting in the way. Wish I had a pliers. Tully smiles again, reaches into the bag and pulls out a pliers! Fixed and reshod in jig time. Happy days. An hour later new boy Brian snaps his chain and Tully comes to the rescue again with a power link.
Kudos to McGyver Tully, the spin saver.

Thanks for reminding me - the sheared bolts are in the washing machine! Better go find them before I need to fix that :?
McGyver would have duck taped your foot to the pedal
